Israel's Ehud Barak to Visit Japan

Tokyo- (PanOrient News) Ehud Barak, Israel's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, will visit Japan from Wednesday, February 15 to Sunday,
February 19, Japan's Foreign Ministry today said.

During his stay in Japan, Barak will meet with Mr.Yoshihiko Noda, Prime Minister of Japan; Mr. Koichiro Gemba, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan; and Mr. Naoki Tanaka, Minister for Defense of Japan to exchange views on bilateral relations and regional issues, including Middle East peace, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry in Tokyo.

It is expected that Deputy Prime Minister Barak's visit will further promote the good relationship between Japan and Israel, the statement said.
