Japan Condemns Syrian Security Authorities' ``Use of Force Against Demonstrators

Tokyo - (PanOrient News) Japan strongly condemns the use of force by the Syrian security authorities against demonstrators, which led to deaths and injuries of many civilians, said a statement by Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, on Deaths and Injuries of Demonstrators in Syria.

The statement noted that Japan strongly urges the authorities to stop immediately violence against civilians.

Japan urges the Government of Syria to implement urgently various reforms that people are demanding, including political and economic ones, in addition to the lifting of the Emergency Law on April 19, and to restore the stability of the country, according to the statement.
