Japan Welcomes ``Israel's Expansion of Gaza Exports``

Tokyo- The Japanese government welcomed on Friday "the decision of Israel regarding the expansion of exports from the Gaza Strip."
A statement by the Japanese Foreign Ministry said that "the Government of Japan welcomes the decision by the Israeli Government on the approval of the additional measures with a view to the promotion of the expansion of exports from the Gaza Strip.”
"Japan hopes that based on this decision, the export of goods will be fully and promptly implemented for the improvement of economic growth as well as of the social and living conditions in the Gaza Strip."
The statement added that "Japan will pay close attention to any developments surrounding this matter."
