A Japanese ``War Tourist`` Documents Syria

Mr Toshifumi Fujimoto, reportedly a Japanese photographer who has converted to Islam, is showing a Victory sign with an unknown member of the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant", a rebel organization active in the violence going on in Syria.

Mr. Fujimoto, a 45 year-old former truck driver, reportedly came to Syria as a "war tourist" before joining this organization and the Free Syrian Army fighters against the Assad regime forces. He was previously seen taking photos of demonstrations in Homs city, central Syria.
