Myanmar makes rice donation to those displaced in the Gaza Strip

PanOrient News YANGON: Myanmar’s Interfaith Friendship Organization, on behalf of the Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Muslims and other followers of the different religious faiths practiced in Myanmar, will donate 3,000 tons of rice to the displaced people in the Gaza Strip as humanitarian assistance. Myanmar and its people are also going through challenging times at present, facing internal conflicts inside the country leading to displacement of people in some areas, but empathize with those suffering in Gaza. So the people of Myanmar have expressed their wish to show sympathy and understanding with those displaced in the Gaza Strip with this demonstration of goodwill in the hope that peace and stability can soon be achieved for all.
