Israel Violates International Law: Japan

Tokyo- (PanOrient News) The Government of Japan said it "deeply deplores" Israel's approval of plans for housing units in settlements in the West Bank.
An official statement issued by the Foreign Ministry in Tokyo on Friday (September 2) said such settlement activities committed by Israel are in violation of international law, and Japan has repeatedly called upon the government of Israel to fully freeze settlement activities.
The Government of Japan strongly urges the Government of Israel to desist from implementing the plans of construction that is undermining the viability of a two-state solution, the statement said.
