This year's showcase reflecting the growing influence of small, independent developers and the rising popularity of smartphone games.
This year sees 421 exhibitors from across the world showcasing 1,363 game titles, both record numbers, according to the event's organizers, the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association and Nikkei Business Publications Inc.
