All Out Anti-Abe Demonstration

An anti Shinzo Abe government protest was held in Tokyo on June 14th by various left-wing groups, including the Federation of Students' Self-Governing Association. The protest was organized by the so-called “June 15th Battle Planning Committee”. Protestors carried banners and boards calling for the "Annihilation of Right-Wing Fascists," "Dissolution of 'Imperial Forces' and Bases," and for “No Revision of the Constitution, “all opposing the current government administration. Activists supporting the rights of the disabled also participated in the protest. Heavy police and anti-riot forces accompanied the demonstration.
