North Korea blasts the West hypocrisy for supporting Israel’s attacks on Gaza

TOKYO: In an article by the Chongryon International Bureau published in “Korea File,” Western countries are accused of hypocrisy in supporting Israel’s attacks on Gaza and Iran and predicts the collapse of the Western order.
The article accuses Israel of continuing to “commit atrocious mass murders in Gaza in collusion with the United States” in violation of the UN Charter and international law. It says the defense of Israel by G7 countries “is the ultimate double standard” in terms of democracy, human rights and law-based international order.
“The postwar international order led by the West will lose all legitimacy and will steadily collapse,” it says, adding that reports of Iran pursuing the development of nuclear weapons was a “fabrication” by the International Atomic Energy Agency.
The article goes on to ridicule US President Donald Trump with reference to his TACO nickname (“Trump always chickens out”)and says, “He always bluffs but always backs down,” using the trade war with China as an example.
The article also makes fun of NATO – for praising Trump “as if he were an ancient Roman Emperor” – and France, which it labels “a poodle in today's Western Europe” with no pride or spirit.
Chongryon, also known as Chōsen Sōren, is the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, and is closely associated with North Korea.
