Highest Speed New Casio EXILIM Digital Camera Released

Tuesday, May 22, 2012

Tokyo- (PanOrient News) Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today that it will release the newest addition to its EXILIM family compact digital camera, the EX-ZR300, which is equipped with a wide-angle 24mm, 12.5x optical zoom lens and is packed with a variety of shooting functions.

This new model, to be released on June 8, is powered by the dual core processor equipped EXILIM Engine HS, and provides stress-free shooting that let users take beautiful pictures in rapid succession.

The Casio EX-ZR300 has many features including the quickest “Rapid Shutter” function of all High Speed EXILIM cameras, with 0.95-second fast startup and 0.12-second high-speed auto focus. The minimum time between shots is 0.26 seconds, the company said.

The long battery life, which allows users to take approximately 500 pictures, is another feature along with wireless functionality to send data from the camera to PC or smartphone using Eye-FiTM/FlashAirTM memory cards.

The “Premium Auto Pro” feature automatically merges high-speed, continuously shot images according to the shooting conditions, and dramatically improves final image quality in challenging situations such as backlighting, night scenes and zoom shooting.

The function of “High-Speed (HS) Night Shot” merges high-speed burst-shot images, producing bright pictures of scenes that appear dark to the naked eye -- all without using a flash – and delivering sensitivity up to an equivalent of ISO 12800, Casio said.

The “Art Shot" function of Casio EX-ZR300 Digital Camera allows users to take pictures using seven different effects, including “toy camera style” and “tilt-shift style”.
